About Heavenly Flan
Hi, I’m Marisel. I was raised eating flan and as far as I’m concerned, “Flan is the best dessert in the whole world”.
I’m a true flan lover. For my entire life I watched my Mom preparing flan, and many times I helped her make it until I felt I did not need her supervision. She followed in my grandmother’s footsteps, and I followed hers in creating the creamiest flan that you have ever tasted. The recipe has been in our family for generations.
With my mothers passing in the fall of 2010, I was inspired to carry out her legacy by recreating our Flan family recipe with Organic, Natural and fresher ingredients. Thus, the name of my business was created as mom guides me from “heaven” and watches over me.
My concept was simple “A creamy flan with natural, Organic ingredients and local products”. Wow! I liked that. So, I began my search for suppliers of cage free eggs, organic sugar milks and seasonal fruits.
I wanted to create awareness about a better Flan. So I began my testing, keeping in mind that no preservatives and no chemicals would be the key to a healthier flan. I felt the need to provide the “flan lovers” of the world a top-of- the-line product. There’s also no Gluten in any Heavenly Flan. A creamy and natural flan, gluten free! I was on to something healthy that I could share with the rest of the world.
